Apex 12k winch
My winch can supposedly pull up to 230 amps. The cable on the winch is 22mm, which from what I can find, is 4 gauge. Most charts I can find state that for that amp draw, the cable should be 000 or 0000, so what gives? I'm running wire from the battery to a 350 amp marine switch, then to a disconnect on the winch. What wire should I be running?This is a sturdy mount, well built and packagedl. With this winch plate, I mounted a HF Badlands Apex 12k winch on my Gladiator, with no problems. I also took the factory plastic trim plate and cut it with a Dremel to make it fit.
