If you get 100 combat XP, you get 33.3 taming XP, 100 pet XP for your main pet and 6.25 pet XP for your foraging pet. If you add a +50% combat XP item to your combat pet and you again get 100 combat XP, you get 50 taming XP, 150 pet XP for your main pet and 9.375 pet XP for your foraging pet.
