Load range e tires would be a total waste of money unless you also upgrade wheels. The OE wheels are only rated for a certain pressure and a E tire to get the most benefit will need to be inflated to the max pressure. Probably 80 PSI vs the 50 PSI for your stock tires. You will be far better off buying stock size Maxxis tires and go camping.You do make a lot of interesting points. My truck came with 275 65r/18's, the michelin p rated ltx ms2's at that size gives a rating of 1073 kg or 2360 per tire x 4= 9440 lbs. If my 08 tundra has approx. 7200 gvw and the truck weighs 5500 + hitch weight of 1400 + me and wife (290)= 7200 lbs. Still well under the tire rating of 9440.
