Chassis saver vs por 15
Think of POR-15 as glue, because its actually an epoxy. On things you dont see often like frames and suspension components its perfect and even looks pretty nice. Its not paint though so i would keep it away from surfaces you intend on painting. Rubberized undercoat works great if you apply it to a fairly clean and rust free surface. I did mine shortly after it was new and as long as you keep it maintained it will do well. I tried a bedliner product on the underside of a truck and it didn't hold up. I looked into Por-15 after a horrible experience with it. I took on some 'vette suspension parts to sandblast. They had some kinda coating on there that stood up well to course sand and 120psi!

Both are pretty good products, I believe Chassis Saver is generally a bit cheaper though. I know the company that makes it are vendors here on the site, maybe talk to them.Worth noting that you have to top coat POR-15 with paint because it is very UV sensitive and will get chalky. Even on the underside of the car, UV reflected off of the concrete will get to it eventually. By comparison, my daughter's project car has basically no surface rust, so I'm just painting it. At least for now.
