Exploring the founda-tions is a central theme of mathematical logic. These course notes o er a pragmatic account

Dynamical systems, Riemann surfaces. I primarily study translation surfaces and Riemann surfaces, and their moduli spaces. A central theme is the rich interplay between concrete problems concerning dynamics on individual surfaces and more abstract questions about moduli spaces. Recently I have used various compactifications of these moduli spaces.MATH 1910, 1920, 2210, 2220, 2930, and 2940 may fill up briefly during pre-enrollment or the add period, especially on the first day for first-year students or sophomores. If this happens, more spaces will be added to enable students to self-enroll on Student Center and meet their math requirements.
