The new FIPG PN is 00295-00103 and its about $15 for a 3oz tube, good stuff no doubt but not completely necessary IMHO. I was a young Automotive Technician trained in Germany in the late 1980's and early 199's. We did not use RTV FIPG materials. In fact until I moved back tot he USA in late 1991 I had honestly not seen the stuff or heard of it.Jun 20, 2012. #2. ok, well someone else gave the following torque specs for: rear main seal plate 52in-lbs. flywheel ~75ft-lbs. pressure plate ~25ft-lbs. as for sealing rear main plate, toyota black FIPG will work.
