My problem is that the specd gap on the original 318 plug was .025. A couple online Deere parts stores sell the Deere/NGK plug and show “standard gap .025” in description. This past spring I bought a JD 318 with a new starter in it. A couple weeks ago the starter mount snapped, I ordered one from db elec and pulled the motor and replaced. The new starter was exact same as last.
