The LaRue is a 5.56 chamber. I ordered a White Oak upper chambered for 223 Wylde, 20” Shilen 750 barrel and the upper alone is over 7#s. The H-Lux Service Rifle Scope went on to the that upper. We have only two range sessions with the two uppers and I will post our results for 100 yds. Both uppers functioned flawlessly.
