Rivets for vin plate
The rivets that retain the VIN plate on any vehicle are proprietary, available only to the OEM manufacturer, and one of the things that street cops look for during a vehicle inspection is whether those rivets have been monkeyed with. If they have, away the entire vehicle goes, do not pass go!!!As you know, the VIN plate for the '68 is pop riveted to the dash.
