Rod knocks

The noise unfortunately reminds me of a connecting rod knock, but it doesn't behave like the one's I've heard before. This "rap" is heard on acceleration. When I've heard rod knocks before, it is on de-acceleration--when letting off the gas. It isn't hear at all when de-accelerating or simply cruising along maintaining speed.

It will get to a point that you have so much clearance that the force of the crank turning will snap your rod bolts and end up throwing your rod and piston all over the place. Picked up a New to me 2018 EX 1.5t with 50000km with complete dealer service history about a week ago and noticed a light knocking noise from the engine at idle.
